Ingredients : The alcoholic extract of C. serratum root reported to produce a significant anti-inflammatory and antipyretic activities in animal models.
Ailment Treated : Leaf extract is used in cold & cough, fever and dysentery. Semi-dried stem fumes useful to cure asthma and bronchitis. Root used in rheumatism and dyspepsia. Seeds used in dropsy.
Source : Localized wild habitat in hilly areas/ hillocks. Rare and can be cultivated in the plain areas with luxuriant growth.
