Ingredients : Leaves yield essential oil. Leaves contains cinnamic aldehyde, linalool, eugenol, b-caryophyl, benzaldehyde, camphor, cadinene, limonene, geraniol, ocimene and benzyl cinnamate.
Ailment Treated : Bark and leaf decoction used for gonorrhoea, rheumatism, colic, diarrhoea, enlargement of spleen and snake-bite. Leaf decoction is used against cough, headache and dizziness.
Source : Generally cultivated in both hills and valley areas. Found sold in the markets.
